Hi Stephen Peckhover,

thanks for pointing that out. I'll check if it's possible to change the title to something more fitting, for example "Where can I find this?"

I thought this lesson was about asking where we can buy something, according to the title. How come it's about asking where we can find something? Is there a lesson about asking where we can buy something? What's the link?

Hi John,

Yes, "ci" is not very simple, but you found the right explanation!

Only be careful that "I would like to give (to) you this book" in Italian is "Vorrei dar-ti / dar-vi questo libro".

An example with "to us" can be "Ci presti questo libro", "can you lend (to) us this book".

Grazie e ciao!

I think I have worked it out on further refection

'lo' or 'la' is 'it' meaning an object - the book, the pasta

'ci' is 'it' meaning a concept, phrase or sentence

am I right ?

I have a problem with 'ci'

ci means us Lorenzo ci vede - Lorenzo saw us

ci means to us, - vorrei darci questo libro - I would like to give (to) you this book

ci means therenon posso andarci - I cannot go there

bur ci sometimes means it

ci vuole due ore andare a Roma - it takes two hours to go to Rome

non ci posso creder - I do not believe it

but why lo instead of ci l'ho trovato - I have found it

c'รจ molta confusione
