| First the request. |
| The clerk requests Karen’s email address by saying, “Your email address, please.” |

| The first part is il the definite article il |
| suo is the formal way to say “your,” suo |
| Next, is a keyword. Remember this because you’ll see it again in Karen’s response. |
| indirizzo email “email address” indirizzo email |
| Indirizzo is a singular masculine noun, so the possessive adjective suo and the definite article il are also singular and masculine. |
| All together il suo indirizzo email. The polite form for “your email address.” |
| Last is the phrase, “Per favore.” meaning “please.” As in please do or give something. Per favore |
| Combining all the parts, Il suo indirizzo email, per favore. “Your email address, please.” Il suo indirizzo email, per favore. |

| Next, mio means “my.” mio |

| Next, remember this word for email address? |
| indirizzo email means “email address” |

| Remember, since indirizzo is a singular masculine noun, also the possessive adjective mio and the definite article il are masculine. |

| When we give the email address in Italian we usually don’t spell it right away. We first read it and then spell it, if it’s clear that the other person didn’t understand it. |
