Receptionist: Le porto subito il cuscino e la coperta, ma la Sua camera è non-fumatori. Non può fumare, mi dispiace. Vuole cambiare camera?

Betsey: Now let's hear it with the English translation.
Receptionist: Hotel Gran Duca. Buona sera.
Receptionist: Hotel Gran Duca. Good evening.
Claudio: Buona sera. Chiamo dalla camera 21. Posso avere una coperta e un altro cuscino? E posso avere anche un portacenere?
Claudio: Good evening. I'm calling from room twenty-one. May I have another blanket and pillow? And may I have an ashtray?

Claudio: No, pazienza. La ringrazio.
Claudio: No, nevermind. Thank you.
POST CONVERSATION BANTER
Ofelia: In this lesson we'll talk about hotels. More specifically, we'll talk about hotels that are a bit different from the norm.
Betsey: So you're telling us about places where we can have an unconventional hotel experience when travelling in Italy, right?
Ofelia: Exactly!
Betsey: This sounds interesting…
Ofelia: Ok, let's start with Gubbio, a medieval city in the heart of Umbria, in central Italy.
Betsey: What's your hotel recommendation in Gubbio?
Ofelia: Well, there is a medieval castle, called Castello di Petroia, which is now a beautiful hotel. It's located in a remote area, and it's surrounded by forests.
Betsey: It sounds charming…
Ofelia: It is! In this castle, you can even sleep in the room that's in the old tower, which dates back to the 14th century. Lots of steps to climb, but they are worth the view you have from the room.
Betsey: It sounds like it!
Ofelia: Now, let's move to Treviso, in Veneto, in the North-East of Italy.
Betsey: What kind of hotel will we find there?
Ofelia: It's called the Locanda Rosa Rosae, and it is a hotel created inside an old windmill from 1570. There is a mill stream running just near the hotel.
Betsey: Wow, I bet it's really picturesque…
Ofelia: Definitely, and the last hotel I'd like to talk about is in Venice.
Betsey: Is it in the shape of a gondola?
Ofelia: Almost! It's a hotel that's like a little yacht. The hotel's name is Sarah and as you can imagine, rooms are a little smaller than the average hotel, but this is a great way to spend a night in Venice, which is the city of canals.
