Unfortunately there isn't any good anecdote about "taglio", nothing related to "tagliatelle".... (at least I couldn't find any!).

Thanks for lesson. In pdf, no need for "tip#1" if there isn't a tip#2 or more. I kept waiting/hoping for an anecdote about "taglio".... Such as tagliatelli...or even that, unlike USA paper money, to help thwart counterfeiting, the larger denominations were printed on increasingly larger paper. Thus de-inking a valid note to get "good" paper to overprint at higher value would be futile. Ancora, grazie. Mark in Mar 2015.
