Grazie mille per un eccellente serie di lezioni. Anche io ho trovato questo corso molto utile. Adesso capisco veramente il condizionale. I dialogi erano spesso molto divertenti, con molti frasi utili. Sto aspettando Beginner Stagione 2 con molto entusiasmo. :)

Thank you very much for an excellent series of lessons. I, too, have found this course very useful. Now I really understand the conditional. The dialogues were often very funny, with many useful phrases. I'm waiting Beginner Season 2 with much enthusiasm.

Hi Joan Blench,

Thank you for your feedback!

We are glad to hear that

You can practice through the flashcards and the wordbank, but for the moment there isn't any feature that allows to listen to the sample sentences without reading them. We will consider this as a suggestion for the future developments of our site.

Now, I would suggest to listen to the "Dialog" tracks several times.

If you have any question, please let us know!

Grazie e ciao!

Thank you for putting together such a great resource. I studied Italian several years ago, so the 45 lessons here were a great review. My greatest weakness continues to be auditory comprehension. I found many of the dialogues difficult to decipher, not through any fault of the course, but because real-time spoken language is faster than I can process. Do you have a set of audio flashcards (flashclips?) for Beginner Season 1?. I enjoyed the expansion sentences and would find it really helpful to be able to hear them randomly presented without the benefit of the written text.

Hi Edmar,

Lucky you. You can see your favorite singer next week :)

Just notice: La mia cantante preferita ha un "mall tour". Verrร  qui la prossima settimana.

The article is always required in front of possessive adjectives. It's omitted only in front of nouns that indicate family relations, in the singular form : madre, padre, sorella ecc.

A presto

Hi Berenice,

Poi expresses the chronological time passing, what happens next. It's translated as then in English.

Eg. Ceno e poi prendo un caffe' ( I have dinner and then a coffee)

Allora doesn't have to express time. It can be translated as so in English.

A: Nevica!

B: Allora stasera non usciamo in macchina.

(A: It snows! B: So tonight we are not going out by car)

During a conversation Allora is also often use as a filler.

Allora, cosa facciamo stasera?

So, what are we going to do tonight?

Hope this can help.

buono studio :)
