Hi guys! Welcome to ItalianPod101.com. My name is Ilaria, nice to meet you or nice to see you again. Today, we're going to talk about 10 Phrases to Use When You're Angry.
So let's start!
1. Non sono affari tuoi. "It’s none of your business."
You can also say...
Non ti riguarda.
2. Sta' zitto. "Shut up."
You can also say... Fa' silenzio.
3. Lasciami in pace. "Leave me alone."
You can also say...
Lasciami stare.
It's the same as Lasciami in pace.
Lasciami stare.
4. Stai scherzando? "Are you kidding me?"
5. Non importa. "Whatever."
You can also say...
Non mi interessa.
Which is the same as saying non importa.
6. Smettila. "Cut it out."
You can also say...
"Stop" Basta.
You can also say "stop" in English, and in Italian, it's basta.
Basta così.
You know, cut it out.
7. Non voglio parlare con te. "I don’t want to talk to you."
8. Sono sconvolto. "I'm upset."
You can also say...
Sono dispiaciuto.
Sono arrabbiato.
there are other ways to say that you are upset.
Sono dispiaciuto.
9. E allora? "So what?"
You can also say...
E quindi?
It's the same
E allora? E quindi? Same thing
10. Chi ti credi di essere? "Who do you think you are?"
So, if you happened to be angry in Italy, you can actually use one of these terms. Of course, I mean, they're not so respectful to the other person. But let's say, if you are angry, you can actually use these phrases.
