Ciao tutti!
This might sound crazy but during my recent vacation, Italy enchanted me! I now have a dream to go back and work there for a year if possible. I have been an operating room nurse for 20 years and would like to send this email to the nursing licensing body in Italy. If someone would please make spelling and grammar corrections for me I would appreciate it so much!!!

You did a fantastic job, only a few mistakes regarding difficult words.
I will try and correct it as best I can. If you could post the original English version it would help me understand a few words. I have highlighted them in bold. I am sorry to be out of the loop concerning hospital job titles.

Hi Marco,

Sorry for the delay in responding. My computer was out for repair. The english version of my letter is as follows.

I am a General Duty, Registered Nurse in Winnipeg. I have worked in the Operating Room as a scrub nurse for 20 years. I would like to work in Italy for a year if possible. Would you accept (honour) my nursing licence? Are there english hospitals I could apply to? Any help would be appreciated.

I heard about the 'fake' nurses in Calabria. While it is a shame they got away with it for so long, it's reassuring to know that patients are now getting proper care! So I don't know if this is the right time to be doing this but I have to at least try.
