Ilaria: Ciao! This is Ilaria and welcome to Italian weekly words. Let’s see today’s theme which is birds. Uccelli.
1. anatra, duck
Le anatre possono essere molto aggressive. Ducks can be very aggressive sometimes. I have been attacked by one.
2. corvo, crow
In Italia i corvi sono considerati uccelli sfortunati. In Italy, crows are bad luck.
3. gabbiano, seagull
Quando vai al mare puoi vedere moltissimi gabbiani. When you go to the sea, you can see so many seagulls.
4. gallo, rooster
"chicchiricchì" Yes. In Italia il gallo dice "chicchiricchì". In Italy, rooster says "chicchiricchì".
5. gru, crane
La gru è un animale simbolo del Giappone. Cranes are symbol of Japan.
