Hi Loretta Briscoe,
thanks for your question.
Technically, someone who makes coffee should be called "il barista" and someone who mixes drinks should be called "il barman." However, not everyone knows the difference and sometimes both names are used without distinction.
I hope this helps!

If someone who makes coffee is a barista, what do you call someone who mixes drinks?
Ciao Bill,
Thank you so much for your suggestion. However, as of now, we, unfortunately, do not display articles for this content. Our vocab builder lessons indicate the genders though, and I can also recommend you to check out our Italian dictionary whenever you feel unsure about a noun's gender at https://www.italianpod101.com/italian-dictionary/.
Good luck with your Italian! ๐ If you have any more questions, please let us know!
Sincerely,
Levente

Ciao!
Could you please write an m. or f. after each vocabulary word so that we can see the gender at the same time?
Grazie!
