Let's get started!
Let's look at the dialogue.
When I read, I want you to pay attention to the names, find what the names are and see
how they are used in the dialogue.
Buongiorno, sono Paolo Parisi, piacere.
Good day, I'm Paolo Parisi, pleasure.
Piacere, sono Mark Lee.
Pleasure, I'm Mark Lee.
Now let's look at the sentence pattern.
This pattern is the structure that our dialogue follows.
Sono, name, piacere.
As simple as that.
Sono Paolo Parisi, piacere.
Piacere, sono Mark Lee.
Ok let's look at the vocabulary.
Next we have, sono, I am, sono, sono, sono,
buongiorno, good day, buongiorno, buongiorno,
buonasera, good evening, buonasera, buonasera, buonasera, buonasera,
buonanotte, good night, buonanotte, buonanotte, buonanotte,
piacere, pleasure, piacere,piacere, piacere.
The literal translation of piacere is pleasure, but in Italian the equivalent is nice to meet you.
