followed by the object.
For more than one thing, use...

To identify things near you, use...

For things further away, use...
Quello è.
Or...

Quello è ragù.
Let's practice.
You meet Isabella.
She points to some bread rolls.
Tell her that those are bread rolls.
Che buoni!
Now, meet Amelia Erba.
She points to a brown dish far away.
Tell her that is ragù.
Quello è ragù.
