You'll be challenged to say where you live.
First, let's look at some examples.
Giapponese?
No, sono della Florida, ma ora vivo a Roma.
E tu dove vivi?
Anch'io vivo a Roma.
To say where you live, you can say:
Vivo a...
For cities, or...
Vivo in...
For countries or regions, followed by the place, like:
Vivo a Roma.
To ask someone where they live, you can say:
Dove vivi?

Dove vivi?
Vivo in Nuova Zelanda.
