In this lesson, you'll practice how to ask about the location of a room or a facility.
You'll be challenged to ask about the location of a room or facility.
First, let's look at some examples.
Ah, mi dispiace.
Non ti preoccupare.
Tutto okay con i tuoi vestiti, Adam?
Oh, sì, tutto okay.
Dov'è il bagno?
È là.
To ask about a location, say...
Dov'è?
Followed by the singular place, like...
Dov'è il bagno?
To answer, say...
È followed by the location word, such as...
Qui.
Here.
Lì.
There.
Or...
Là.
Over there.
Listen to a few more examples.
Dov'è l'ascensore?
L'ascensore è qui.
Dov'è la fermata dell'autobus?
La fermata dell'autobus è lì.
Let's practice.
You are in a building and see Mark Lee.
Ask him where the elevator is.
L'ascensore è qui.
Now, you see Ben Lee.
Ask him where the bus stop is.
La fermata dell'autobus è lì.
