Ciao Bill,

grazie per il tuo commento. Ecco le correzioni:

vuoi facendo -> vuoi fare

Non posso fare dipinti. -> Non so fare dipinti.

Mia sorella puรฒ usare -> Mia sorella sa...

E i miei fratelli possono usare il carboncino -> I miei fratelli possono...

Voi potete fare arte? -> Voi sapete...

Noi possiamo usare le matite colorate -> Noi sappiamo...

If you meant to talk about skills (I can paint), you should use the verb "sapere" (know how to). If you use "potere", it sounds as if they don't have permission to paint.

You can use "arte" for lots of different things. As long as it's something that involves creativity. So yes, music is art, and so are statues or handcraft works.

However, the expression "fare arte" usually refers to paintings, drawings, and sculptures.

A presto!

Ciao, Marina! Cosa stai facendo?

Non sto facendo niente adesso, ma voglio fare arte.

Che arte vuoi facendo? Vuoi usare la vernice per fare dipinti?

No, non voglio fare dipinti. Non posso fare dipinti. Mia sorella puรฒ usare la vernice per fare dipinti. E i miei fratelli possono usare il carboncino per fare disegni. E tu e tua moglie? Voi potete fare arte?

Sรฌ. Noi possiamo usare le matite colorate per fare disegni. Vogliamo fare disegni questa sera.

รˆ una buona idea. รˆ divertente.

Sรฌ, รจ divertente.

Does "arte" only depict pictures (and statues)? Is music also an "arte?"

Grazie in anticipo!

Hi NJ Marinaro,

You should be able to import words into your flashcard decks from any lesson, word list and even from your Word Bank. Check the flashcard FAQ section.

If you can't find the word list for a lesson, you can always add each word manually to your Word Bank, then from there into your deck. Just search the word in our dictionary and you can add it to your word bank.

Hope this helps!

So many words that we could add to our flashcards, but no way to do it. Colla, Stoffa, Trapunte, Gessetti, Marciapiedi...
