Welcome to Can Do Italian by ItalianPod101.com.
Ciao a tutti. Sono Felice Angelini.
Hi everyone! I’m Felice Angelini.
In this lesson, you'll learn how to talk about your occupation in Italian.
This is Mark Lee, and he's on a plane to Italy.
He asks the passenger sitting next to him, Paolo Parisi,
"Are you a student?"
È studente?
Listen to the conversation, and focus on Paolo’s response.
Note: the speakers in this conversation use formal Italian.
Ready?
È studente?
No, non sono studente. Sono investitore.
Once more with the English translation.
È studente?
“Are you a student?”
No, non sono studente. Sono investitore.
“No, I'm not a student. I'm an investor.”

Hi Thomas Rashbrook,

thanks for your comment.

"collezionatore della spazzatura" is incorrect ("collezionista" is the correct word, but it means collector, as in, someone who collects something as a hobby), I believe you meant "netturbino" (waste collector) .

Thanks for posting!
