Quale tipo di pane ti piace comprare? What type of bread do you like to buy?

Hi Jeanette Cook,

In general, we put the adjective after the noun.

Thank you and keep up the good work!

Ciao tutti!

Mi piace il pane alla olive. I like olive bread.

Anche il pane d'aglio รจ delizioso! Also garlic bread is delicious!

Mi piace moltissimo immergere il pane in alla olio d'oliva! I very much like to dip bread in olive oil! (Yum!)

Could you please tell me how to know where to put the adjective in a sentence? Before or after the noun?

Grazie e buono giornata!

Hi C.Ofelt,

You can use either "fetta" or "pezzo" with all of them:

un pezzo/una fetta di carne/torta/pane

Mi susi! Il mio commento scorso dice "feta", ma intendo "fetta" (dal verbo "affetare")

(Escuse me. My last comment says "feta" but I mean "fetta" (from the verb "affettare")

Posso usare "feta" invece "pezzo", ma per la carne, la torta e la pane solo?

I think that had to be the best lesson, in any subject, I have ever had! I loved the intro part where Marco and Cinzia switched parts! And I learnt a lot about how to order things. When I visit Italy, I usually use 'Per favore posso avere...' when ordering, but now I am going to start to use 'Volere'. I really enjoyed this lesson!:razz::razz:

Grazie Mille ItalianPod101!

Ciao Ken,

As Edmar said (thanks Edmar!)..."igname" รจ un tipo di patata dolce ma questa parola non รจ molto usata ("igname" is a type of sweet potato, but this world is not used much).

Sono contenta che i commenti siano utili, continua a studiare con noi!
