Ciao Rita,

thanks for posting!

What you say is correct, but our sample sentences are in the "neutral / base" form, which is the masculine form. Sometimes you'll hear a female voice, and other times a male voice, but it's just to show you how it's pronounced.

On the other hand, in the lesson dialogues, female voices always talk using feminine adjectives and nouns.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

A presto,

Valentina

Ciao, sono Rita

In the examples under ‘sono’, a female voice says “Sono nato in giugno.” and “Sono preoccupato.” Shouldn’t these be “Sono nata in giugno.” and “Sono preoccupata.” (feminine endings)?

Grazie

Should I use conoscerLa for both male or female?

Buongiorno!

I have a question: when greeting a group of people and saying "piacere di conoscerti!" is there a way of saying "to meet you" in the plural, or can I only use ti/la?

Grazie,

ML
