una partita di calcio

Postby jemcubed » February 26th, 2009 11:43 pm

Has anyone been to a soccer match in Italy? I never have, but plan on going someday in the future. I was just wondering what the atompshere is like, and how it compares to a sporting event in north america? What kind of foods/refreshments do the sell at the consession stands (im imagining they don't sell hamburgers and hotdogs, hehe)...Just curious, Thanks!

Dear jemcubed,
I have never personally assisted to any Serie A (the major league) soccer match.
All I know comes from TV and stories that soccer fanatic friends used to tell me.

It seems to take quite a while to get into the stadium as there are a lot of people queuing and most of all there are some very stringent security checks.
You cannot bring bottles or other objects that you can use as projectiles.
