Today’s Italian lesson is from our Lower Intermediate course. You might have seen friendly Italians conversing with each other, smiling, gesturing and laughing at school, the local deli or Italian restaurant. Instead of smiling blankly and wishing you could join in, after paying close attention to today’s mp3, you’ll be able to join in!

In today’s lesson we will be considering the congiuntivo presente tense, an additional meaning of the verb andare, the different grammar and syntax of time and frequency adverbs and the most common structures used to refer to a determined group. We will also discuss some Italian eating habits and how foods change over different generations and regions.
