It's a fresh sausage made from pork, fatback, and pork rind, it is shaped has a pork's leg and it is often served with lentils, cutted in round slices. I can only add that now young people are not eating it as a time in Italy, since it's very fat, but if you have the chance please try it!! Consuelo Ciao Chuck,

She is actually saying "Buon duemilanove". We shall try to slightly slow down the Newbie dialogues. Does anyone else have any suggestions on the dialogue speed? Dear Kim Knox,
I have listened carefully to the lesson and Cinzia says “Buon 2009″, although she says it so fast that is sounds very close to “Buon …nove”.
She is actually saying “Buon duemilanove”.

We shall try to slightly slow down the Newbie dialogues.

Does anyone else have any suggestions on the dialogue speed?

The last line in Cinzia's script says "Happy 2009" but Cinzia actually says "Buon novo" Happy New Year. Please correct the script. 2. Marco is much easier to follow when you are doing the normal speed of an Italian conversation. Cinzia needs to keep the speed but not run the words together or drop the last syallables-at least for the Newbie and Beginner podcasts. With the Upper Intermediate and Advanced, there wouldn't be as big as a problem-and Marco actually speeds up on those podcasts. 1.
