Your family in Italy cannot wait to spend time with you! In fact, since you moved to Italy they have been very patient! It seems you have done nothing but work since you arrived in Italy three months ago. Oh sure, you have stopped in for a home-cooked Italian meal a few times, but they want some real quality time with you! So tonight, they are going to pressure you for an answer…an answer you don’t know! As soon as you walk in the door, your normally sweet grandmother asks you sternly in Italian, “when do you plan to take vacation in Italy?” Shocked, you don’t know what to say. You haven’t asked the manager of the Italian company you work for “when you might take vacation!” That’s not good enough for her! She pushes on in Italian, “on the first, the third?” If you want to eat, you might want to give her what she wants and then beg your Italian boss later! It sure smells good in here!

Learning Italian with ItalianPod101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn Italian! This Italian Beginner lesson will teach you how to say “when” in Italian.
