Learn Italian with ItalianPod101.com! What is your favorite thing to do in Italy? Is it shopping in Milan or sampling all the wonderful food each Italian city has to offer? Maybe it’s touring the Italian museums and visiting all the historical landmarks in Italy. If you’re like me, you like to do a little of everything. I have an Italian friend who always spends all day reading her book in the Italian piazzas though! I don’t know how to tell her politely in Italian that she is often very boring! I would love to do something different, such as go shopping in Milan, or see an Italian concert. I think she would have a great time in Italy too if she would just lift her head up occasionally!
Learning Italian with ItalianPod101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn Italian! This Italian Newbie lesson will show you how to communicate with the most common Italian frequency adverbs such as sempre (”always”). In addition, this lesson teaches the correct usage of the Italian verbs fare (”to do,” “to make”), preferire (”to prefer”), and adorare (”to worship,” “to love,” “to like”). Furthermore, discover the tradition of Italian pop music. Visit us at ItalianPod101.com where you will find many more fantastic Italian lessons and learning resources! Buone giorno,
I really like this lesson because I love music and reading. It is something I enjoy discussing with other people.
I also enjoy art. There is so much talent in Italy.
ciao ciao,

Buon Giorno Cinzia and Marco!
I’ve been listening to the newbie series for a while (but still not good enough to write something in italian
). I just want to say that I like the lessons a lot, they’re very entertaining and useful.
And I also want to ask, how do you say “italianpod101.com” in italian? I know that Cinzia says it at the beginning of every lesson, but i can catch only ItalianPod punto com.
Grazie and keep up the good work!

Ciao Pimpuk!
Thank you for your support!
What you miss I think it’s just the number after “italianpod” which is “CENTOUNO” which literally meams “hundred and one”
Have you been to Italy?
Where are you from?
Ciao Ciao!

Ciao Cinzia,
Grazie millie!
I’m from Singapore, a small country in South East Asia.
I visited Italy earlier this year (in April) for 2 weeks and the trip made me want to learn italian. Italy is a very beautiful country and the people there are very friendly.
I went to Pompeii and stopped for a short period at your beloved city, Napoli. Visited and had a coffee at Gambrinas cafe
. Also went to milano, venezia, firenze and, of course, roma. Before the trip was over, I already want to go back again and hopefully get to spend more time in the southern part of italy.
Ciao,

Hello,
Another thing that I noticed is that from Newbie lesson 19 onwards (not sure about other series though), when I press the center button of my iPod, I do not get the transcript of the dialog, instead I get the description of the lesson.
For example in this lesson, when I press the center button of my iPod, I get the following text:
“Learn Italian with Italianpod101.com! Today is the twenty-first lesson, learning Italian at Italianpod101.com is really fun!
Today Laura and John desire to get to know each other a bit better and inquire about their favored spare time activities. Are they so different as not to find a common ground they could both enjoy or is there […]”
Kindly check on this. Grazie!
