Level: Beginner Lessons
Your friend has been raving about this quaint little Italian bakery in Naples for weeks now. Today, she insists the two of you stop in for a bite to eat at lunch. She was wrong…it’s even more beautiful than she told you! As you pull up a chair outside to sit in the warm Italian sun, a tall, handsome Italian man approaches you. He gazes into your eyes and asks in Italian, “what would you like?” You struggle to regain composure-lost in the Italian man’s stunning good looks-and finally answer him in Italian. You tell him, “I would like a big wedding.” The Italian man smiles, obviously speechless-as is your friend! You continue to tell him in Italian, “I would like a house in the Italian countryside with three kids and to spend summers on the beach.” Your incredibly embarrassed friend stops you there as she apologizes to your Italian waiter! She tells you in Italian, “I think he would like to take our order.” Can you crawl under the table without anyone noticing?
