It’s just after midday. I’m in the office alone. Starving. Marco and Cinzia have left for some reason or another. That’s right, they just left me alone, without any lunch. They had a short conversation in Italian that I had trouble understanding. I’m not sure where they went, but I feel a bit bad that they left without me. Hmm… what’s this? Someone has left an mp3 player on my desk, with “press play” on it… maybe it will give me some clue as to where they’ve gone… Hmm…. it’s Newbie Lesson seventeen… maybe I can work out where they’ve gone from the dialogue…. Today Laura and John are discussing lunch plans. We will be learning presente indicativo tense of the regular first conjugation verbs (whose infinitive form ends in –are) along with some rules on pronouncing the hard and soft “c” and “g” letters. Be sure to stop by ItalianPod101.com after listening to the lesson, and if you stop by, be sure to leave us a post. And if you see Marco and Cinzia, could you ask them to let me know where they’ve gone?
