Level: Beginner Lessons
You’re on the plane back from Rome, and crack open the book that you bought at the airport. The flight attendants are bustling around, helping people settle into their seats for the long flight back home. You reach for your glasses… Strange, they’re not where you left them. Hmm…weird. You search through your bag, the jacket you bought in Milan, but you can’t find them anywhere! Panic sets in as you realize your fellow passengers are now getting a little agitated. “What are you doing,” they seem to be asking. You try explaining, and asking for help, but no one understands what you’re saying. You hold your hands up to your eyes as if to motion for glasses, but now everyone just thinks you are crazy! You even try to make a run for it, but the Italian flight attendants stop you dead in your tracks! They ask you in broken English, “do you need help with the seatbelt? Your flight is ready to depart.” Honestly, you can replace glasses a lot cheaper than another airline ticket from Rome! It would have been a lot cheaper to have just studied Italian before you left with ItalianPod101!
