Level: Beginner Lessons
Your global company had been preparing for weeks for a month-long conference in Italy. You were very excited to meet new people, especially in Italy. You already knew a little Italian from speaking to Italian people on the phone over the past few years, and you even started learning a little Italian in your spare time. Then, everything turned into a nightmare overnight as your boss asked that -with your prior knowledge of the Italian language-you be the one to introduce everyone in Italy. As your colleagues arrive at the Italian office, you walk right up to the Italian manager, grab his hand, and plant a huge kiss on each of his cheeks. A little stunned by the affectionate and inappropriate greeting, the Italian man is rendered speechless.
